Responsibilities




We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Evenings), internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I at Southern Regional Medical Center a member of Prime Healthcare. Focus will be on conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients.

Shift Available: Evenings

Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday thru Friday)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols
  • responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed
  • interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations
  • maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history
  • stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
  • operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
