Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Conyers, Georgia is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to specialize in using ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging. The role includes performing examinations under radiologist supervision and providing patient care across all age groups.

Candidates must be graduates of a JRCERT approved program and certified by the ARRT. Preferred candidates will have 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist and must be BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required: Graduate of a JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum experience required: Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum licensure/certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
• Additional qualifications: BLS certified.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
