Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Methodist ER New Braunfels is seeking a CT Tech to perform CT imaging with accuracy, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires expertise in CT procedures, neonate to geriatric care, and proficiency with the Meditech system for scheduling and charges.

The candidate will maintain CT room readiness, participate in safety programs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services in a clinical emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates competency in all areas of computerized tomography (CT) and related equipment.
• Provides care to neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
• Maintains CT room cleanliness and inventory; restocks supplies.
• Interacts professionally with staff, patients, vendors and public.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging with proper positioning and technique.
• Utilize Radiology Imaging System Meditech for scheduling, tracking and charges.
• Follow safety policies, monitor for crises and adjust priorities accordingly.
• Maintain CT room cleanliness and restock supplies after shifts.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to ensure quality patient care.
