Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under a Radiologist's supervision. You will deliver patient care across all ages and adhere to established standards.

The ideal candidate has ARRT and BCLS certifications and at least 6 months of radiologic technology experience, with a commitment to high-quality imaging and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT radiologic tech program.
• Minimum 6 months radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT and BCLS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all ages from neonatal to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
