Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN Days role in Macon, GA. The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT scans under a Radiologist's supervision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

This position requires ARRT and BCLS upon hire and a graduate of an AMA/JRCERT accredited program. Ideal candidates have 6 months of radiology experience and are committed to compassionate patient care across all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program required.
• Experience: 6 months Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
• Licenses: ARRT registration and BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images under radiologist supervision.
• Provide patient care across age groups from neonatal to geriatric.
• Follow prescribed standards and safety protocols during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
