Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a part-time CT Tech to join our radiology team. No prior CT experience is required as we provide comprehensive training to help you excel and deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
• CT experience preferred; CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
• Active registry status.
• Current permit to practice Radiology Technologist license.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information for radiology needs of patients.
• Thorough imaging technique for patient positioning per order.
• Monitor radiation exposure time and activity to ensure safety.
• Apply sterile techniques and safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid failures.

Shift: Varied

Responsibilities:

• Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.

• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.

• Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.

• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.

• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications:

• Must have relevant credentials as defined below:

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).

• PreviousCT experience preferred.CTcredential(ARRT or NMTCB)preferred.

• Maintains active registry status.

• Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License

• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
