Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Good Samaritan Hospital in Silicon Valley is seeking a CT Technician (PRN) to perform CT imaging and related radiology procedures under sterile technique to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment.

You will prepare exam areas, position patients, and operate complex radiology equipment. Requires California CRT, BCLS, and at least 6 months radiology experience; venipuncture preferred within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• California CRT license is required.
• BCLS provider certification required.
• Minimum 6 months of radiology procedures experience.
• Venipuncture certification preferred within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination area, position patients, and operate radiology equipment.
• Perform CT and related procedures to capture sectional images for interpretation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a CT Technician, you will scan, or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in order to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients. • You will prepare examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines
• You will perform Computed Tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner

What qualifications you will need:

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course required
• Minimum of 6 months on the job experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures required
• Venipuncture Certification preferred within one year of hire
