Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a CT Technologist to perform Computed Tomography imaging and related procedures with patient-centered care and professional judgment.

You will provide services to diverse patients, supervise staff in the Diagnostic section, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and policy. This role requires ARRT CT and radiography credentials and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Knowledge to provide care across the life span per department policies.
• Ability to perform CT imaging and related procedures for diagnosis.
• Demonstrates professional judgment and ethical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional images.
• Provide patient care with professional judgment and medical ethics.
• Lead and supervise all employees and students in the Diagnostic section.
• Ensure standards of practice and regulatory compliance are followed.

Basic Cardiac Life Support Certif.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.

Provide health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs Computed Tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful completion of the procedure. Provides services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Provides leadership and supervision of all employees and students in the Diagnostic section. Provides services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. They will formulate technical goals, establish standards of practice and recommend policy that is in compliance with all regulatory agencies and corporate guidelines.
