Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose is seeking a CT Technician to perform CT imaging and related radiology procedures under sterile technique to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You will operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes teamwork and compassionate care within a busy hospital setting. The position requires California CRT certification, ACLS, and at least 6 months of diagnostic radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Current California CRT required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course required.
• Minimum of 6 months on-the-job experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures required.
• Venipuncture certification preferred within one year of hire.

• Prepare examination area, position patients for procedures, and operate complex radiology equipment.
• Perform Computed Tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a CT Technician, you will scan, or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in order to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients. • You will prepare examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines
• You will perform Computed Tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner

What qualifications you will need:

• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course required
• Minimum of 6 months on the job experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures required
• Venipuncture Certification preferred within one year of hire
