Job summary

A healthcare services provider in Atlanta is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic examinations using ionizing radiation. Candidates should possess at least one year of experience as a Radiological Technologist and a minimum of six months of CT experience. Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography is preferred. The role includes providing patient care to diverse age groups in accordance with all prescribed standards.

Position Summary:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiological Technologist and 6 months of CT Tech experience. (We will not accept candidates that have 1 year of Radiological Tech and 2 months of CT Tech experience; they need to have 1 year of Radiological Tech and 6 months of CT Tech experience)
• Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred. BLS certified.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT - (R)).
