Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a CT technologist to operate imaging equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic care. You will prepare patients, follow sterile techniques, and document procedures meticulously while maintaining radiation safety.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT registration, a Radiologic Technology degree, and at least two years of experience with one year in CT; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registered with ARRT.
• Minimum of two years experience, with at least one year in CT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment, power injectors and other imaging devices for diagnostic procedures.
• Provides quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepares patients with proper sterile technique and communicates needs effectively.
• Ensures documentation is complete and accurate and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Acts as a resource for students and junior technologists and supports research activities.
