Job summary

Emory Healthcare's Computed Tomography team at Emory Hillandale Hospital is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist to operate CT equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. The role requires ARRT registration, a minimum of two years' radiologic experience with at least one year in CT, and BLS certification; advanced CT certification is preferred.

You will prep patients, maintain sterile technique, document care, minimize exposure, and contribute to education and research

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered.
• Minimum of two years of experience, with at least one year in CT.
• BLS Certification is required; advanced CT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and power injectors to produce CT scans.
• Provides quality care to patients receiving diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Prepares patients with proper sterile technique.
• Documents patient care accurately and communicates needs in writing and verbally.
• Minimizes patient and staff exposure to x-radiation and maintains safety.
• Assists with education for students and junior techs.
• May support or assist in research activities.
