Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and be registered with ARRT.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience, with one (1) year in CT. Advanced certification in CT preferred.
• BLS Certification required per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment, power injectors, and other medical equipment to produce scans for diagnostic procedures.
• Provides quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepares patients with proper sterile technique and communicates patient needs clearly.
• Ensures documentation is complete and accurate regarding patient care.
• Maintains proper operation of imaging equipment and stays current on device uses.
