AdventHealth OTTAWA is seeking a CT Technologist for night shift in Ottawa, KS. The role supports patient imaging with attention to ALARA and patient safety. The position is part-time with benefits and a focus on quality imaging.

The candidate will operate CT scanners, administer IV contrast, and document all procedures in the EMR/PACS while collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff. Strong English communication and anatomy knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• CT technologist with ARRT CT certification preferred.
• Experience operating CT equipment and administering contrast.
• Comfort with EMR documentation and PACS workflows.
• Familiarity with radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations following orders and protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS; ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients about procedures and answer questions.
• Position patients to optimize image quality while minimizing exposure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to infection control, PPE, and safety guidelines.
