Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus seeks a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our radiology team. This full-time role runs Wednesday through Friday from 5:00pm to 6:30am, with holiday coverage required. The position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist and obtain CT Certification within one year of offer.
Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates understanding of IVs and central line usage as they pertain to CT.
Completes ancillary tasks to support efficient department operations.
Accurately identify patients and files; ensure correct labeling of films, images, and EMR charts.
Track patients per department procedures; identify and correct errors in EMR/PACS and RIS reports.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings.
