Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for a full-time weekend shift. Fridays at Inova Imaging Beauregard, 6:30am–7:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays at Inova Healthplex, 7am–7:30pm. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance eligible.

The role requires ARRT certification with CT certification within one year, licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, and BLS on start. Prior CT or radiography experience is preferred. Inova supports growth and safety across our NVDC metro region.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
• License: Licensed Radiologic Technologist; 12 month state licensure required for INOVA non-hospital centers.
• Certification: ARRT certification; CT certification within one year; Basic Life Support on start.
• Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage as it pertains to CT.
• Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations.
• Identifies patients and files with high accuracy; avoids mislabeled films and EMR entries.
• Tracks patients per department procedures; corrects errors in EMR, PACS and radiology systems.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings.
