Job summary

Cooper Lighting Solutions is seeking a CT Tech for CV Imaging in Atlanta, Georgia. The position requires ARRT certification and BCLS upon hire. This is a part-time role, with shifts limited to Saturdays.

Qualifications

CT Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. They perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist and provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Utilize ionizing radiation to create cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes, operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and medical staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program – Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist – Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) – Upon Hire Required
