Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic tomography exams under the supervising radiologist. You will provide high-quality patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, following safety protocols, and ensuring accuracy of imaging studies, with emphasis on teamwork and patient comfort. ARRt certification and BCLS are required at hire.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist required.
  • ARRT certification and BCLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of the radiologist.
  • Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Adhere to prescribed standards and safety protocols while ensuring high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
Work Experience
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
