Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under the supervision of the Radiologist.

The ideal candidate has completed an AMA/JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology program, has 6 months radiologic experience, and holds ARRT and BCLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of AMA/JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • ARRT registration upon hire is required; BCLS certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

  • Computed Tomography (CT) examinations must be performed under supervision of a Radiologist, following all prescribed standards.
  • Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Education

Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
Work Experience
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
