Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Coordinator performs computerized tomography procedures as outlined by the radiologist. The CT Coordinator is responsible for checking the diagnostic quality of all films, training department staff, and responding to questions from both medical physicians and other hospital departments. The coordinator operates diagnostic equipment, verifies images, and prepares the room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. The CT Coordinator assists the CT Supervisor with all leadership duties, including employee scheduling, annual employee evaluations, clerical tasks, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and other necessary tasks. The CT Coordinator may directly supervise students, ensuring the primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift. The employee must have the same licensure or have completed the training required for the discipline of the student.
