Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; CT licensure in NM or provisional path.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NM Computed Tomography license (NMCT) or provisional NM CT license (NMPCT).
• ARRT Computed Tomography certification required; ARRT(R) acceptable with path to CT licensure.
• Must obtain NMCT and ARRT(CT) within 2 years of NMPCT where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT imaging equipment with clinical reasoning and adherence to protocols.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and answer questions.
• Educates patients before scans and ensures safety checks and correct patient–exam pairing.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and resource use.
• Performs safety, calibration, and quality checks per established protocols.
