Qualifications

• Associate Degree is required.
• NM CT license (NMCT) or provisional NMCT license (NMPCT) required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging using clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and evidence-based guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams, addressing concerns and ensuring a supportive environment.
• Educate patients about procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Coordinate with departments to optimize patient flow and resource utilization, avoiding delays and conflicts.
• Conduct safety checks, validate exam orders, and adhere to protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform necessary clinical and technical safety assessments, including calibration and quality checks.
• Handle additional clinical duties as assigned.

Education

Associate Degree

NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or provisional license (NMPCT)

ARRT certification

Current BLS certification
