Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Westwood, NJ is seeking a night shift CT Technologist. You will perform CT exams, transport patients, and manage imaging workflows while delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.

The role requires ARRT RT, NJ license, CT certification or eligibility within 6 months, and BLS within 14 days. Prior radiology experience is preferred; compensation is based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT as an RT.
• CT certification or certification eligible with certification within 6 months.
• Licensed by the NJ DEP Bureau of X-ray compliance.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT examinations with professional and accurate technique.
• Transport patients to and from Imaging Services.
• Prepare departmental paperwork and manage communications.
• Answer the department phone and schedule patients.
• Enter and retrieve patient data from PACS and HIS.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the‑art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all CT examinations, transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of all departmental paperwork, answering the department’s telephone, scheduling of patients, entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT.
• CT Certification or certification eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 months of hire.
• Licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray compliance, State of New Jersey.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous employment as a Radiology Technologist.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
