Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Westwood, NJ seeks a night shift CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will perform all CT examinations, ensure safety, and collaborate with the Imaging Services team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT RT registration, NJ X-ray license, CT certification or eligibility within 6 months, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Compensation depends on experience and may include shift differentials.

• Prepare department paperwork and answer phones.
• Schedule patients and manage PACS/HIS data entry and retrieval.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the‑art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of personalized, professional, and quality patient care, internal and external customer service, performance of all CT examinations, transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of all departmental paperwork, answering the department’s telephone, scheduling of patients, entering and retrieving patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS) and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT.
• CT Certification or certification eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 months of hire.
• Licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray compliance, State of New Jersey.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous employment as a Radiology Technologist.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
