Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Carthage, TX is seeking a PRN Radiology CT Technician to perform CT studies for patients of all ages, utilizing ionizing radiation and advanced diagnostic technology.

You will work under the CT supervisor and radiologists, with potential overtime and call-back duties. A High School Diploma and an Associate degree in Radiography are required, with ARRT licensure within 90 days and BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college.
• Within 90 days of completion of an accredited radiology program become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
• Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
• This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college.
• Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
• CT Experience.
