Job summary

You will own technical design reviews, assess risks, and provide innovative solutions to achieve optimal system performance while guiding junior engineers and stakeholders through complex system architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Medical Physics, Applied Mathematics or closely related field.
• Ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.
• Effective communication skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a broad cross-functional team to define and develop system-level features.
• Implement and optimize image quality and dose management features for new products and roadmaps.
• Evaluate and tune designs focusing on image quality, calibration and dose management.
• Lead design reviews, assess technical risks, and provide innovative solutions for optimal system performance.
• Quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on system performance and image quality.
• Develop requirements for key system performance parameters related to image quality, safety and calibration.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation within the team.
