Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Radiology Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals and administering procedures per physician orders, with on-call duties and potential shifts at our Lenoir location.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate / Associate or Bachelor's degree.
• Current Radiation Operator Certificate in current state.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and CT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as ordered.
• Monitors patient condition continually and responds to changes.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Ensures image quality and performs necessary adjustments or repeats.

Education

Two year certificate / Associate or Bachelor's degree

Current Radiation Operator Certificate

ARRT Certification in Radiology and CT
