Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare and operate a CT scanner, assisting patients and ensuring accurate documentation in PACS and RIS. The role requires ARRT CT certification, a NJ license, CPR/BLS, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and ARRT CT certification.
• Current NJ DEP license and CPR/BLS certifications.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and operate a CT scanner following physician orders.
• Assist patients onto scanner and verify identification prior to scan.
• Select patient from worklist and ensure exam is archived on PACS and RIS.
• Maintain orderly facilities and stay abreast of new CT procedures.
