Job summary

ProMedica Bay Park Community Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to support high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care. You will collaborate with radiologists and the team to perform CT scans and ensure patient safety.

You will operate CT equipment, determine appropriate technical factors, and administer IV contrast under a physician's direction while adhering to radiation protection standards.

Qualifications

• Completed formal radiologic technology training at an AMA approved school or accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
• Must be registered by the ARRT and be CT registered; if eligible, registry within one year of hire.
• If performing in more than one modality and registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting additional responsibilities.
• Must be licensed by state if applicable.
• Current CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors based on patient age, size, weight and health status.
• Administer and document contrast and IV contrast under physician direction.
• Follow radiation protection and patient safety protocols.
