The University of Miami Hospital & Clinics Imaging Services UTower seeks a CT Scan Technologist – Level I to perform complex CT procedures, oversee daily operations, and supervise imaging staff in the absence of leadership. Responsibilities include scheduling, protocol development, and patient safety.

Required credentials include FL General Radiographer license, ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging Program.
• State of Florida License as a General Radiographer. CPR and BLS certification required. ARRT registered and ARRT Certified in primary modality required.
• One year (1) year of relevant experience required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate/manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
• Supervises and perform diagnostic imaging studies under the direction of a radiologist.
• Assist radiologists and PhD's in developing new CT protocols and Ultrasound imaging techniques.
• Provide education and training to student technologists and staff.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper consent and safety during CT procedures.
• Ensure CT protocols are followed and images are of high quality with appropriate radiation safety.
