Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Cat Scan Technologist I to operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of CT scans, patient safety, and documentation. Candidates must have a Graduate Radiologic Technology education, a Florida Radiologic Technologist License, and preferably 6 months of CT experience. The role operates on weekends with a focus on patient care and safety, alongside maintaining efficient workflow. Basic Life Support certification is also required.

Qualifications

• 0 – 1 year experience as a CT Scan Technologist required.
• 6 months of CT experience preferred.
• Must hold a Radiologic Technologist License in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological/CT exams to departmental standards.
• Ensure quality and safety of CT scans.
• Communicate with patients and prepare consent forms.
