Job summary

Northwell Health’s Sharon Hospital CT Scan department seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures with attention to quality and safety. The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, BLS, and CT/ARRT credentials.

The successful candidate will work in a busy environment, supporting imaging services across the CT and X-ray suites. Responsibilities include patient positioning, image acquisition, and equipment maintenance while following radiology

Qualifications

• Associate degree or graduate from an accredited Radiologic Tech program.
• BLS certification required.
• CT State RT license (new grads may qualify under CT Temporary Provisions).
• Valid ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-Ray and CT imaging equipment.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with patient safety in mind.
• Assist with patient positioning and comfort.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to radiology protocols.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology or be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Tech Program,
• BLS
• CT State RT license (new Graduates under the CT Temporary Practice Provisions considered)
• Valid ARRT.

Prefer candidates willing to work in X-Ray and CT Scan.
