Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT RT (R) and RT (CT) certifications required
• NJDEP New Jersey X-Ray License required
• BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Obtain necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for procedures
• Maintain sterility of field and instruments
• Communicate with patient and family to alleviate anxiety while preserving privacy
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect patient privacy
• Verify patient identification according to policy
• Assist in inventory and stocking of supplies
• Notify radiologist or Lead of equipment malfunctions or expired supplies
• Assist in performing routine CT procedures and post-procedure care
• Maintain clean and organized CT unit and room after each use
• Coordinate emergent and unscheduled procedures within the schedule
