Job summary

SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – Wentzville is looking for a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform imaging exams in support of diagnostic treatment.

The role requires ARRT-R credential and CT credential within 12 months of hire, with a 28-hour weekly schedule in the Imaging - CT and Radiology department. Responsibilities include patient positioning, image acquisition, radiation safety, contrast administration, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology program.
• ARRT-R credential is required.
• A CT credential is required within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special and advanced procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice.
• Ensure image quality and documentation are properly sent to PACS.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
