Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year program with accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Kentucky Radiation license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
• Fluency in written and spoken English with medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with focus.
• Proficient in basic computer operations and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Perform digital X-ray and other ancillary exams.
• Position patients for imaging, ensuring proper technique and safety.
• Document all interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Manage patient flow to meet productivity and safety standards.
• Screen patients for precautions or contraindications prior to scan.
