Job Summary

To provide high-quality, patient-focused healthcare services within the scope of practice, following physician orders, Texas State Laws and Regulations, and company policies. Must be currently licensed as ARRT in Texas with CT experience. Performs general and specific x-rays and CT scans for diagnostic purposes. Conducts laboratory testing according to industry standards and CLIA. This position is for a full-time night shift at our Weatherford facility.

Role Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Ability to work with patients of all ages
• Documented clinical experience in CT scanning
• Ability to perform CT procedures independently
• Assist with sterile procedures as needed
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current ARRT and Texas MRT licenses in good standing
• Current BLS certification; ACLS is a plus
• Maintain continuing education hours per state guidelines
• Pass background checks
• At least 2 years of Radiology and CT experience; emergency center experience is a plus
• Exceptional technical skills

Radiology Duties

• Prepare patients and equipment for x-ray and CT procedures
• Explain procedures to patients and families
• Position patients and support devices appropriately
• Practice radiation safety measures
• Adjust equipment settings for optimal imaging
• Administer routine x-ray exams
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures
• Document procedures accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and supplies in radiology areas
• Perform quality assurance tests
• Assist with clerical duties and front desk registration as needed
• Comply with OSHA and radiological safety standards
• Read and write medical terminology accurately
• Work effectively under pressure, maintaining excellent patient care and customer service
• Availability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Manage time efficiently and anticipate workflow
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and EMR systems
