Job summary

Clearwater Valley Hospital and Clinics, Inc. in Idaho is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis.

Under the direction of the department manager, you will review requests, prepare patients, position for procedures, and operate radiographic equipment per ALARA standards. This is a full-time role with a sign-on bonus and a strong emphasis on HIPAA compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year program.
• Six months of proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews requests for radiologic studies.
• Assesses patient condition and handling requirements.
• Explains and prepares the patient for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Positions patient and selects technical factors to ensure high-quality radiographs per ALARA.
• Maintains radiographic equipment and rooms; reports malfunctions.
• Assists with higher-complexity examinations such as arteriography, pyelography, etc.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicates with patients, families and co-workers.
