• Preparing examination rooms and equipment
• Explaining x-ray procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort
• Operating x-ray machines according to established procedures
• Reviewing image quality and redoing procedures if needed
• Operating within radiologic standards of care
• Taking steps to minimize radiation exposure
• Maintaining accurate patient records of x-ray procedures
• Opportunity to cross-train into other modalities such as MRI and CT

Minimum Requirements

• Certification and current registration as a Registered Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Experience in CT and MRI preferred
• Graduate of an Accredited Imaging School
• BLS certification
