Job summary

Surepoint ER in Fort Worth, TX seeks an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to provide high-quality imaging services under physician orders. The role requires strong patient care and adherence to CLIA, OSHA, and hospital policies in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration, Texas MRT license in good standing, BLS, and 2+ years radiology/CT experience with excellent teamwork and communication skills. Shift flexibility is preferred for all hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CT scanning experience documented.
• Must be registered with the ARRT.
• Current Texas MRT License in good standing.
• Current BLS required; ACLS a plus.
• Continuing education hours to renew license.
• Pass background checks.
• At least 2 years Radiology and CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for x-ray/CT, explain procedure to patient and/or family.
• Position patient and immobilization devices for procedures.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to limit exposure.
• Adjust equipment controls, determine exposure time.
• Administer routine x-ray exams.
• Document patient chart with procedures performed.
• Maintain radiology room cleanliness and supplies.
• Perform radiology quality assurance tests and records.
• Assist front-end registration staff or clerical duties.
