Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification is required.
• Texas Medical Board licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist is required.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) by first day of employment is required.
• Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and ensure appropriate CT protocol.
• Screen and prepare patients, obtain history, explain procedures and consent.
• Safety: ALARA principles, monitor for adverse reactions, proper labeling of images.
