Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN shifts to join a Magnet-designated hospital with a rich history of serving the community. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or Associate Degree (preferred).
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or no experience with ARRT-CT (required).
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) and ARRT - CT (required).
• ARRT - CT (if 1 year radiology technician exp) within 12 months (required).
• CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (required).
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care (required).

Responsabilités

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian prior to and during exam, imaging the correct anatomical area per protocols, and performing complex procedures.
• Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, adjust technique or repeat procedures as needed.
• Correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
• Assess and recognize the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
• Operate, care for and maintain equipment.
• Prepare room for examination (suction, oxygen, supplies).
• Administer contrast media and other medications per medication guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards between patients.
