Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT team at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. The role requires ARRT licensure, CT credential, Ohio radiographer license, BLS, and ability to perform IV starts and CT-guided procedures.

Shifts are nights, 5x12s every two weeks (7p–7a), with every-other Sunday on call. Occasional cross-training and collaboration with radiologists and nurses ensure high-quality patient care in a Level One Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication with the care team.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
