Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology team. The role supports imaging across adult patients, performing CT studies, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during exams.

This position may require call and weekend coverage as part of a busy tertiary care center. The selected candidate will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to deliver high-quality CT imaging, educate patients, and participate in cross-training

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• Preferred: 1 year related experience and ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and related procedures per radiologist instructions.
• Assist with CT-guided biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and what to expect.
• Maintain imaging quality and safety standards; document procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
• Operate CT equipment under supervision and maintain records.
