Qualifications

• Proficient in CT and X-ray examinations with adherence to safety and protocol standards.
• Ability to identify patients correctly and obtain high-quality images for interpretation.
• Experience in responding to trauma and urgent imaging needs with compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT and X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Operate and maintain CT and X-ray equipment per VA policies.
• Ensure proper patient identification and imaging technique for accurate results.
• Respond to trauma and critical alerts with rapid imaging to aid diagnosis.
• Assist with patient positioning and monitor status during imaging.
• Document studies in EHR and communicate findings to clinicians.
• Maintain infection control and imaging suite readiness, collaborating with staff overnight.
