Job summary

The Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS) seeks a skilled Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT) to perform routine and specialized CT scans across all major regions in a busy radiology department.

Candidates must be ARRT certified with relevant CT experience; advanced certification preferred for independent CT duties. English proficiency and 24-month post-high school program completion are required, with grandfathering options for current VA staff.

Qualifications

• Certification in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R) required.
• Advanced ARRT certification required for CT/MRI/Mammography duties as applicable.
• Completion of a 24-month post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program, accredited by JRCERT or recognized DOE accrediting bodies.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing as required by VA policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide range of CT imaging procedures across major regions (head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities).
• Ensure effective functioning of Radiology Service within EKHCS.
• Follow imaging protocols and maintain patient safety and documentation.
