Key Position Details:

THIS POSITION INCLUDES A $7,500 SIGNING BONUS FOR EXTERNAL TALENT

• 0.9 FTE (72 hours per 2-week pay period)
• Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, covering day and evening shifts with every other weekend

Job Description: Performs diagnostic radiological imaging across multiple modalities including CT, MRI, general radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Sonography, or Mammography, depending on department location. Provides timely, quality service following provider or radiologist instructions. Adheres to Imaging Department policies to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain procedures, and address questions or concerns during and after procedures.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines, including:
• Patient identification with two identifiers
• Accurate documentation of procedures
• Patient interaction to respond to needs
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Performs procedures accurately, demonstrating knowledge of equipment, maintaining competence, gathering relevant information for interpretation, and verifying image transfer to storage systems.
• Provides clerical support using Excellian and understands the Enterprise Medical Imaging system, ensuring documentation is complete post-procedure.
• Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members, reporting issues and supporting colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Vocational or Technical Training graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology

Licenses/Certifications:

• Must be registered in at least one modality (XR, CT, MRI, IR, NM, Mammography, US) as specified for the role, with additional certifications as required (ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS, RVT).
• Must obtain at least one of the following BLS certifications within 60 days of hire: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or in-house BLS training.

Physical Demands:

• Medium Work: lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently.

Pay Range: $37.67 to $51.63 per hour, based on experience, education, and other factors. Shift differentials may apply.
