Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL is seeking a CT/Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic and CT procedures in accordance with imaging policies and patient safety standards.

You will join a team committed to exceptional patient care, with night shifts on a Sun–Mon–Tue schedule from 7pm to 7am. 1–2 years CT experience required and ARRT CT/RT credentials preferred. No travel.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-CT certification required or within 1 year of start date.
  • ARRT-R radiography certification required.
  • CT tech responsibilities include performing CT procedures.
  • Radiologic technologist responsibilities per policy and safety.
  • Education: vocational/associate/bachelor required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiologic and CT procedures following imaging policies.
  • Provide compassionate care and maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiology team to ensure quality imaging.

EXCITING news: Our RATES have recently INCREASED!

This position is located at the HCA Florida Park West Free Standing Emergency Department (6477 103rd Street, Jacksonville FL 32210). The position shift is Sunday-Monday-Tuesday from 7pm to 7a. You must have minimum of 1 to 2 years of CT experience.

The CT/Radiologic Technologist (aka Multi-modality Technologist) performs Radiologic and Computed Tomography procedures utilizing imaging techniques in accordance with Medical Imaging policies and protocols.

Technologists provide care in a manner that promotes positive interactions with patients, family members, physicians, other hospital departments, and staff in accordance with HCA mission and values.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

  • (ARRT-R) Radiography Rad Tech Ct Tech

  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

  • Vocational School Graduate, Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree Required

No Travel Required

1 to 2 years of CT experience Required
