Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a CT or CT/PET Technologist to support diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment in Birmingham, AL.

In this contract role you will operate CT and CT/PET systems, ensure patient comfort and safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate studies. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent).
• Experience operating CT and CT/PET imaging equipment.
• Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols.
• Skilled in patient positioning, safety practices, and radiation protection.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and CT/PET imaging per physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain QA standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team for precise imaging and timely reporting.
• Document procedures, patient info, and exam results in medical records.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and assist with troubleshooting.
• Adhere to patient safety, radiation control, and infection prevention guidelines.
