Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Frankfort Regional Medical Center is hiring a CT Multi-Modality Tech to support MRI, CT and X-ray services, delivering high-quality, efficient patient care.

You will work across modalities, ensuring ALARA principles, image quality, and patient safety while collaborating with radiologists and staff in a busy regional imaging department located in Kentucky.

Eligibility includes ARRT registration, Kentucky radiology license, and CT/MR certifications; cross-training may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate.
• Advanced Certification in CT or MR (preferred); certification in MRI/CT required at hire or within 6 months.
• Minimum of one year X-Ray and advanced modality experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in MRI, CT and Diagnostic X-ray as volume allows.
• Carry out complex technical tasks utilizing radiation to detect abnormalities.
• Operate equipment to produce quality images safely and efficiently.
• Apply ALARA principles to every patient interaction.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will perform procedures in multiple modalities, which may include: MRI, CT and Diagnostic X-ray. It is expected that Multi-Modality staff work in the modality assigned as volume and patient load dictates to ensure quality and safe care of patients.
• You are responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities.
• You have working knowledge of the equipment used and operates equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner.
• You have knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applies ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate
• Advanced Certification in (CT) or (MR) (preferred). Certification in MRI/CT required at hire (preferred) or obtained within 6 months of employment date or end of cross training period
• A minimum of one year of X-Ray and advanced modality experience (preferred)
