Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Multi-Modality Tech to perform MRI, CT and Diagnostic X-ray with a focus on quality imaging and patient safety in a high-volume setting.

You will operate advanced imaging equipment, apply ALARA practices, and collaborate with radiologists and nurses to deliver efficient, compassionate care. This role supports ongoing education and professional growth within a leading Kentucky acute-care facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate.
• Advanced CT or MR certification (preferred); MRI/CT certification required at hire or within 6 months.
• Minimum of one year X-ray and advanced modality experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in multiple modalities, including MRI, CT and Diagnostic X-ray.
• Perform complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with detection of anatomical abnormalities.
• Operate equipment to produce quality images in a safe and efficient manner.
• Apply ALARA principles to every patient, every time.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will perform procedures in multiple modalities, which may include: MRI, CT and Diagnostic X-ray. It is expected that Multi-Modality staff work in the modality assigned as volume and patient load dictates to ensure quality and safe care of patients.


• You are responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities.


• You have working knowledge of the equipment used and operates equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner.


• You have knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applies ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology


• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)


• Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate


• Advanced Certification in (CT) or (MR) (preferred). Certification in MRI/CT required at hire (preferred) or obtained within 6 months of employment date or end of cross training period


• A minimum of one year of X-Ray and advanced modality experience (preferred)
